2010 MAPACA Jubilee Pre-Show Raffle

Tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100 (prizes are valued at over $7,250 not including the top prize to be added if over 500 tickets sold. Registrants to the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee and MAPACA members can purchase tickets online at the MAPACA Store at http://www.mapaca.org/pages/OnlineStore.
Tickets are on sale now. Watch this page for the thermometer tracking how close we are to selling 500 tickets in order to release the Grand Prize. We’ll also be sending out e-blasts to MAPACA members letting you know just where we are in ticket sales. And watch for the announcement of that top prize and just what you could win! We’ll start drawing the smaller prizes in January, about one a week, and will draw for the top two prizes at the show in April. Raffle Rules and Additional Information:
- Tickets cost $20 each or sold in a six-ticket block for $100.
- Tickets are on sale now on the MAPACA Store website, http://www.mapaca.org/pages/OnlineStore, and ticket sales continue until Apr. 20, 2010, Purchasers will not receive actual tickets, but a confirmation e-mail of their purchase. Their tickets will go directly to the MAPACA bookkeeper, who will be doing the drawings.
- The drawings for the prizes up to the Emerald Sponsorship will take place starting Jan. 15, 2010, drawn once per week in no particular order of prizes, through March 5th. The top two prizes—the breeding and the grand prize—will be drawn at a special event Saturday, Apr. 24, during the Jubilee show. A MAPACA board member will draw the winning tickets from all entries, and the drawing will be witnessed by a second MAPACA board member.
- Who can buy tickets? Registrants to the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee and MAPACA members. Members of the MAPACA Board of Directors and the MAPACA bookkeeper as well as members of their farms or immediate families will not be eligible to purchase tickets.
- A separate winner for each of the prizes listed will be drawn. Ticket holders are eligible for one prize only in the weekly drawings of the first eight prizes. All tickets remaining after the first eight prizes are drawn will be eligible to be drawn for the breeding (2nd prize) and the grand prize, so anyone drawn to win an early prize will only have a chance to win the second or grand prize also if they had purchased multiple tickets.
- A total of 500 tickets must have been purchased before MAPACA will add the grand prize, though that grand prize will be announced prior to reaching that goal during ticket sales. A thermometer tracking the ticket sales will be displayed on the MAPACA main website and updated each week starting after the first week of sales until the Jubilee. Weeklly e-mail blasts to MAPACA members and show registrants will also be sent out tracking the raffle progress and giving important announcements such as the grand prize, winners of the early drawings, etc. So keep watching and buying tickets!
